Season’s Tweetings Color Throwdown

          Hello and Happy Monday. Today I have a card for this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge, if you would like to visit their site click HERE. These are this weeks colors, I am a little late on this one and I don’t think there’s much time left.

These colors are very “Fall” , but I decided to try a Holiday Card with them and I am more pleased than I thought I would be with the final result, ......

I finished last night but needed the morning light to take a good picture. I love these birds from Honey Bee Stamps, I used their Snow birds and Season’s Tweetings with matching dies. The birds, snowflakes, musical notes and sentiment are from those sets. I colored the birds with some Real Brush Artist Loft Watercolor Markers. To create the scene I used the MFT Hills and drifts stencil for the bottom snow then went over it with white Wink of Stella marker. The rest of the scene was created with Hero Arts Forest Stencil and Distress Oxides in Wild Honey and Vintage Photo. The sentiment was stamped with Delicata Gold Ink and then Heat Embossed with WOW Clear powder. “Tweetings” was cut with the matching die and for “Season’s” I used an MFT Stitched Oval Word Window.
